Sheep Entry deadline for sheep is June 1st

All sheep are required to have an Official USDA Scrapie Tag number listed on their entry form.  (TAG HOTLINE: 866-873-2824).  Call early so that they arrive on time!

NEW: Breeding animals will be classified as Black face or white face.

All sheep must be owned and cared for by exhibitor.  Must be in your possesion by June 1st.

All exhibitors must call  by July 31st to verify how many lambs they will be bringing, who they want to share a pen with (if anybody) and where they would prefer to be in the barn.

July 1st - All fair market tags are to be in the sheep ears.  The committee reserves the right to check lambs after July 1st for placement of fair tags at the address of the animals location.

Entry Day:

All animals must go through Health Check at Gate 3 (Shawnee Rd.), between 7 am and 1 pm, then proceed to barn.  After unloading and checking in with your animal, your final step is to go to the Entry office before 2:00 pm.

Fair Week:  There will be a sign up sheet in the barn for exhibitors and/or their families to close the barn each night of fair at 11:00 pm.  Any help will be greatly appreciated by Camille and simply entails just closing the front doors and two small doors.

All exhibitors are responsible to clean their pens daily and clean pen entirely on Wednesday of fair and replace with fresh sawdust.  Exhibitors failing to do so will fall under the 3 Strike Rule (see page 16 of fairbook).  Exhibitors are also responsible to help keep the aisles clean of sawdust and other debris throughout fair week.
